These Terms govern your access to and use of the API-Shield.com website, API, and related services ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and password.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
You agree not to:
- Use the API for illegal, abusive, or deceptive purposes
- Exceed your rate limits or abuse free-tier quotas
- Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with our systems
- Misrepresent results from API-Shield as your own data product
We may suspend or terminate your account if we detect abuse or security risks.
We strive to maintain a high level of accuracy and uptime, but:
- We do not guarantee that every result is error-free
- You acknowledge that disposable-email detection relies on advanced algorithms and machine learning
- Use the API at your own discretion.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe/Paddle.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
- You can cancel anytime via the dashboard; no partial refunds for unused time.
- Pricing and limits may change with prior notice.
All content, trademarks, and code on API-Shield.com are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or resell our software or datasets without permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- API-Shield.com and its owners shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 3 months
We target 99.9% uptime but may perform scheduled maintenance or emergency fixes. We are not responsible for outages caused by external providers, DNS, or internet issues.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Attempt unauthorized access or abuse the API
- Remain inactive for more than 12 months (free tier)
Upon termination, your API keys and data will be deleted within 30 days.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.
